Two more performances advanced to Lithuania’s national Eurovision final after eight artists presented their songs in the fifth and last qualifying show on Saturday.
The Roop, who already represented Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2021, were the night’s favourites with Simple Joy, followed by the trio Queens of Roses who performed Walk Through Life.
The two bands will be joining eight other finalists from the previous heats who will get to perform their songs one more time next Saturday, February 17, in the national Eurovision finale in Klaipėda.
A total of 40 bands and performers were competing for the chance to perform at Eurovision in Malmö, Sweden in May. Each qualifying round included eight acts and the two with the highest score from the jury and the public advanced further in the competition.
